We had been driving by compass for about a hundred miles through the mud and into the desert. We climbed a hill to see if the Bedouin Camp we were seeking was in sight yet. It wasn’t; but we eventually found it. From the hill, I got this picture.
Location: Syrian-Iraqi Desert.
