Unit ME 11

Unit 11 departed May 1942 and was torpedoed in the Atlantic. All were rescued, unhurt except for sunburn, in three different groups, arriving on different dates to different ports. Seven were subsequently reembarked (units ME 16 & 19). The rest did not return to AFS service and are not included in George Rock's roster published in 1956.
